On 26-27 April Krakow for the fourth time hosted the European Congress of Local Governments. The guiding motto of this year’s edition was: Local Government as a Strategy for the Future. The event was organised by the Institute for Eastern Studies in cooperation with the City of Krakow, while in its form it drew upon the Economic Forum in Krynica.
Wojciech Wandzel, attorney-at-law and partner at Kubas Kos Gałkowski took part in the event appearing at the debate Public ‘In House’ Auctions for Municipal Waste – Key Legal and Practical Concepts.’
The Congress provides a platform for exchange of ideas and a venue for local government leaders and regional elites to meet representatives of public administration, NGOs, and business. Its mission is to build an auspicious atmosphere and better conditions for cooperation between Central European countries and the regions.
