Promotion to Partner at KKG

We are pleased to announce that as of 1 January, three long-time associates have been promoted to partner Kubas Kos Gałkowski law firm:

  • Maciej Durbas, PhD, LL.M., MCIArb,
  • Katarzyna Kostępska,
  • Patrycja Wysocka.

Maciej Durbas, PhD, LL.M., MCIArb is co-leader of the Arbitration Practice, and handles litigation, including cross-border litigation, in various sectors as an attorney and arbitrator. Member of the Editorial Board of the Czech (& Central European) Yearbook of Arbitration. Author of a number of publications and conference presentations. Graduated LL.M. with honors from Universität Wien and City University of Hong Kong, and defended his doctoral thesis with honors at Jagiellonian University.

Katarzyna Kostępska is an expert in litigation and bankruptcy and restructuring. Creator of long-term litigation strategies in complex and multi-threaded disputes using litigation, bankruptcy and restructuring mechanisms and non-litigation actions. Participates in working out solutions to conflicts through settlement, as well as in economic negotiations and mediations. Develops and negotiates contracts in handling investments.

Patrycja Wysocka is co-leader of the Energy & Natural Resources Practice. She comprehensively advises companies in the energy sector, including on regulatory issues and investment processes. She represents clients in multifaceted litigation related to the energy industry. She also acts as an attorney before the National Appeals Chamber. She has carried out projects for the largest energy groups.  Author of publications and conference speeches in the field of energy law.
