On June 10–11, 2026, Warsaw hosted the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026—Europe’s largest conference and career fair for women in science, technology, engineering, and IT.
Nuclear energy also featured prominently in this year's program. It is one of the key areas of the energy transition, which in the coming years will require not only new technologies and investments, but above all, qualified specialists from a wide range of fields.
We are pleased that Patrycja Nowakowska, attorney-at-law, of KKG Legal, was actively involved in preparing this part of the program. As a member of the Energy Advisory Board, she helped shape the event’s agenda for the energy sector and co-organized the “Nuclear. Powered by Women” zone prepared by Women in Nuclear Poland.
Patrycja also co-led the workshop “How to Enter the Nuclear Sector – Career Pathways,” which focused on career opportunities in the nuclear industry, and moderated the panel “Nuclear Energy: "From Lab to Building the Future," during which experts discussed the challenges and prospects for the development of nuclear energy.
Discussions held during the Women in Tech Summit 2026 showed that developing the nuclear sector involves much more than just carrying out infrastructure projects. It also involves developing competencies, educating and training future professionals, and building an ecosystem of specialists in the fields of science, engineering, security, project management, communications, law, and regulation.
The Women in Tech Summit once again provided a forum for discussion about the future of technology and energy, highlighting the vital role that diverse experiences, cross-sector collaboration, and the active involvement of women in the development of key sectors of the economy.
