On 21 October, the University of Warsaw will host the first Polish presentation of the book Collective Litigation in Europe: Law and Practice.
Published by JURIS Legal Information and edited by Mary Bartkus, Magdalena Tulibacka, István Varga, and Stefaan Voet, this extensive compendium covers collective litigation mechanisms across 33 European and several non-European jurisdictions.
The event will feature the authors of the Polish chapter – Agnieszka Trzaska-Śmieszek, partner at KKG Legal, dr Magdalena Tulibacka together with prof. Jagna Mucha – who will discuss the key challenges and directions for the development of the Polish collective litigation system.
Dr. Tulibacka will provide an overview of the publication, and Stefaan Voet will present the latest book of prof. Mucha “Consumer Collective Redress in EU Law – Lessons from the Polish Legal System” and address current European trends.
The event is hosted by Chair of Transnational Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration UW and organised in partnership with KKG Legal.
Join us for a discussion on the future of collective redress mechanisms in Europe!
