Urban planning plays a crucial role in the development of cities and municipalities. It influences land use, environmental protection, and the organization of spatial layout. The 2023 reform introduced notable changes in this area, including a new local statutory act, the Master Plan, which every municipality must develop for its entire area.
Agata Ziobroń, senior associate at KKG Legal, discussed its practical importance and the current status of the reform during the 12th Polish Congress on Spatial Planning Law, organized by MUST READ MEDIA Publishing House.
The congress program included:
- Two years of Integrated Investment Plans - where are we?
- Do property owners have a say in the shape of the master plan - what if your property is not included in the Infill Development Area
- Agricultural and forest land in the planning procedure
- Property due diligence for urban planning
- Land development conditions - transitional regulations, new land development conditions and how they will look?
Thank you to the organizers for the opportunity to participate in this event!
