Magdalena Krawczyk a Speaker at the National Scientific Conference of Students and Doctoral Candidates ‘Trademarks in Light of the Recent Amendment of the Industrial Property Law Act’

Magdalena Krawczyk, associate at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, delivered a paper at the National Scientific Conference of Students and Doctoral Candidates ‘Trademarks in Light of the Recent Amendment of the Industrial Property Law Act’. Her lecture was entitled ‘Comments Regarding the System of Guarantees for Maintaining a Monopoly for a Registered Trademark’. The event was organised by the Intellectual Property Law Society at TBSP UJ and was held on 5 May at the Faculty of Law and Administration UJ.

The conference aimed at presenting the set of issues related to the trademark law with taking into consideration the recent amendments to the Industrial Property Law Act by the Act of 24 July 2015 on Amending the Industrial Property Law Act and Certain Other Acts and by the Act of 11 September 2015 on Amending the Industrial Property Law Act, as well as at promoting a discussion related to the regulations regarding, among others, the protection of trademarks and trademark registration at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, or EUIPO.
