On 15 April, a meeting on international arbitration, organised by the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) together with the Scientific Council on American Law of the Jagiellonian University, was held.

During the workshop, the speakers included Maciej Durbas, attorney-at-law and senior associate at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, who shared with the participants his experience in international arbitration.

The discussion also included issues related to cooperation with clients and in-house lawyers, costs of proceedings, effective management of disputes, and the approach to settlements in the course of arbitration proceedings. Participants also discussed ways of dealing with a case with an element of foreign law or where several legal systems come into contact.
