On 17 May the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Law and Administration hosted the National Student and Doctoral Candidate Conference “Judge Appointment Procedure in a Comparative Approach”. The event’s agenda included a paper entitled “The Appointment of Judges in Poland and Portugal – a Comparative Analysis” was presented by Ernestyna Niemiec, an associate at Kubas Kos Gałkowski.

The conference was organised by the TBSP UJ [Association of Law Students’ Library of the Jagiellonian University]. The aim of the event was to provide participants with an opportunity to share their observations regarding the nomination of judges in other countries and the comparison of such procedures.
