Recruitment for postgraduate studies in real estate law organised by the Chair of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, under Professor Jerzy Pisulinski, is now underway.

The programme covers such issues as entries in land and mortgage registers, trade in agricultural real estate, the new Developers Act, re-privatisation, management of real estate by housing cooperatives or housing communities, tenancy and the protection of tenants’ rights, mortgage, spatial planning, restrictions on the use and disposal of real estate arising from construction law, environmental protection or protection of historical monuments.

The course is taught by the best real estate law specialists in Poland – academics, attorneys-at-law, and notaries. Most of the lecturers combine impressive academic achievements with the practice of law. The team includes, among others, Barbara Jelonek-Jarco, PhD, co-managing partner at KKG and Julita Zawadzka, PhD, partner at KKG.

The classes are addressed to lawyers focusing on real estate law, as well as to persons practising other professions which require knowledge of the legal regulations of real estate.
