On 16 March, Rafał Kos, PhD, appeared as a speaker at the expert debate entitled ‘Settling Corporate Disputes in Arbitration’, organised by the Arbitration and Mediation Section at the District Bar Council in Warsaw.
The event was aimed at providing a forum for an exchange of ideas in terms of the desirable changes to the CCP, allowing for corporate disputes to be fully settled in arbitration, with a particular emphasis on the so-called resolution disputes. Another goal of the conference was to initiate statutory changes aimed at increasing both the popularity and usefulness of arbitration.
The debate saw the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Development, representatives of the arbitration circles, as well as arbitration experts and practitioners invited as guests.
