This is a project aimed to increase access to legal services. Kubas Kos Gałkowski has cooperated with the The Polish Legal Clinics Foundation in the frames of the Centrum Pro Bono project, which invited the participation of Poland’s largest law firms. Centrum Pro Bono is a platform of cooperation between NGOs and law firms in the scope of free-of-charge legal assistance. Thanks to this programme, each non-profit organisation and informal group may hope for free-of-charge legal consultancy.

Kubas Kos Gałkowski is also engaged in cases conducted by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, supporting activities aimed at the improvement and protection of human rights in Poland.

In the frames of pro bono activities, our Law Firm appears in a class action against the Social Insurance Institution [ZUS] with its registered office in Warsaw, under provisions of the Act of 17 December of 2009 on Pursuing Claims in Group Proceedings (Journal of Laws 2010, No. 7, item 44) initiated by entrepreneurs who had temporarily urregistered from the insurance system for the periods of suspended business activity prior to 20 September 2008, from whom the ZUS sought or is seeking payment for the said periods.
