Barbara Jelonek-Jarco, PhD and Julita Zawadzka, PhD, partners at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, together with Professor Fryderyk Zoll have been entrusted with the academic editing of a case collection: Prawo cywilne. Kazusy z rozwiązaniami [Civil Law. Cases and Solutions] published by Wolters Kluwer Polska.

Publisher’s note:

The publication contains cases and solutions with a varying degree of difficulty, frequently combining issues from several sections of civil law. The centre of gravity of each solution is a correct systemisation of the examined issues from the point of view of the command or question each case contains. The collection concludes with a selection of cases to be solved by readers, accompanied with references to literature or case law. The authors offer a specific solution development method as well as a method for analysing factual status presented in the cases.

The collection of civil law cases along with solutions is supposed to better present the case solving methods and, consequently, make preparations for civil law examinations easier, as well as to provide a stable basis in terms of the ability to draw conclusions and build legal argumentation in professional practice.

The authors of the publication are the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Law and Administration Chair of Civil Law researchers and PhD candidates engaged in daily didactic activities. The collection is an outcome of their experience in didactic work and comes as a response to the students’ requests for a publication presenting a method for solving cases.
