Disputes over unauthorized transactions have recently become a key issue in financial institutions' relations with customers. The boundary between a bank's obligations and user liability is not always obvious, and recent case law from the CJEU and common courts further complicates the picture.
On October 18, attorneys Julia Myslowska, and Jakub Bojarczuk, senior associates of KKG Legal, led the training organized by Wolters Kluwer Polska, during which they presented:
- a practical approach to assessing gross negligence on the part of customers,
- ways to safeguard the interests of payment service providers in the process,
- the implications of the CJEU rulings for judicial practice in Poland,
- and planned changes resulting from the new PSD3 directive.
