On December 3, Maciej Durbas, PhD, partner and leader of KKG Legal's Arbitration Practice, joined leading voices in the litigation funding community as a panelist at the IMN UK Litigation Finance International conference by Informa.

The event brought together top litigation funders, investors, law firms, and industry innovators to exchange insights on emerging trends, investment drivers, and the impact of technology on litigation finance.

Maciej Durbas took part in the panel “Litigation Funding’s Expansion Across Continental Europe” joining a group of international experts led by moderator Steven Friel, and fellow panelists Isabelle Berger, Guillermo Ruiz Medrano and Pablo Jaroslavsky.

The conversation covered key finding for Poland: although litigation funding for litigation seems to be a challenging market, funding arbitration cases might be an interesting opportunity for funders in Poland.

We would like to thank all the participants for an engaging discussion and the organizers for creating a platform that brings together key voices shaping the future of litigation finance in Europe.
