Talks about the future of the Polish energy industry are gaining momentum, and one highlight was the 13th Technical Conference "New Model of Energy," held November 18-20 in Sopot.
The panel on atomic energy featured Patrycja Nowakowska (counsel and expert in KKG Legal's Energy & Natural Resources Practice) and Ewa Przyśliwska-Urbanek (senior associate at KKG Legal), bringing a practical legal and industry perspective to the discussion.
Nuclear power is invariably at the center of conversations about the future energy mix. With the need for decarbonization, a stable energy supply, and growing climate pressures, the role of the atom is becoming increasingly relevant today, and these issues formed the starting point for the panel debate.
During the debate, Patrycja Nowakowska held a discussion, while Ewa Przyśliwska-Urbanek gave a presentation on local content - in practical terms, covering the challenges faced by domestic providers and the regulatory environment in this area. Their speeches were part of the broader perspective of the conference, which, as every year, gathers experts and industry representatives around the key directions of the transition: from nuclear and hydrogen power, RES and gas, to decarbonization, district heating, and industrial technologies.
The New Energy Publishing House is responsible for organizing the event, and KKG Legal - as in previous years - served as Legal Partner of the conference.
Thank you for the inspiring talks and meetings in Sopot!
