On September 10, 2025, Berlin will host the DIS40 Autumn Conference 2025 – one of the key arbitration events of the season. This year’s edition will focus on the theme: “Europe’s Evolving Disputes Landscape: Transforming, Ever-changing and Arbitration (Un-)Friendly?”

The conference will explore the main factors currently shaping Europe’s disputes landscape – from EU law and arbitral autonomy to the rise of commercial courts, human rights law in arbitral proceedings, and the impact of technological innovations and regulatory developments.

During the panel discussion “ISU and beyond: Where is Arbitration Headed in Europe?”, Maciej Durbas, partner and leader of the Arbitration Practice at KKG Legal, will join fellow experts Sebastian Wuschka, Nika Larkimo Husa, Nadia Ohlhoff-Smahi, and Michael Kintrup, PhD.
