On 10 September, Puls Biznesu held an online conference on the Commercial Companies Code. The event was dedicated to the most extensive reform of the Commercial Companies Code in the last twenty years. The new regulations come as a response to practical problems in holding management and establish previously unknown institutions, increasing the effectiveness of supervisory boards aimed at protecting all the stakeholders in capital companies.
Participants included Rafał Kos, PhD, a member of the Commission for Corporate Governance Reform and expert teams at the Minister of State Assets: on increasing the effectiveness of supervisory boards and on corporate law. In a panel discussion, he answered the question who groups of companies are for.
