How to talk to children about hate speech, image protection, or identity theft?
The best way is through fairy tales! And that's why our attorneys joined the third edition of the Fantastic Attorneys campaign, organized by the Polish Bar Council and the Bar Foundation.
- Patrycja Nowakowska, counsel for KKG Legal, visited Primary School No. 4 in Niepołomice, where she conducted five meetings with students from grades 1-3.
- Grzegorz Pobożniak, a partner at KKG Legal, met with children from the "Children of the World" non-public Montessori kindergarten in Mogilany.
This year, attorneys from all over Poland read the fairy tale "The Forest Cases of Trainee Attorneys, that is, Hate on the Internet, a Mysterious Prize and Mole Mischief under the Great Linden Tree" by Ewa Ruszkiewicz, illustrated by Zuzanna Kledzik. The characters in the cartoon face problems that are increasingly affecting the youngest, too, such as hate, data loss, and online abuse.
Conversations with children showed that even such complex topics can be presented in a simple and interesting way. The youngest once again surprised with their awareness... and questions that would leave more than one adult at a loss for words!
We are pleased that, as KKG Legal, we were able to make our contribution to this worthwhile initiative.
