On June 12, representatives met at the headquarters of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. in Konstancin‑Jeziorna to review the progress made in the dialogue between PSE and contractors affiliated with the Polish Association of Construction Industry Employers (PZPB), who carry out construction, installation, and design work.
KKG Legal was pleased to provide legal support to PZPB by actively participating in the work of the legal working group—one of several parallel thematic teams (alongside the economic, technical, and design working groups).
As part of this work, we focused on streamlining the contractual mechanisms governing the terms of cooperation between the parties and the practical aspects of their application during the implementation of the investment project.
From the perspective of our legal team, we would particularly like to highlight and acknowledge the dedication of the attorneys representing the individual contractors, who actively participated in the work. It was an intensive and demanding process—both in terms of substance and organization—but thanks to the high level of expertise and a willingness to engage in open discussion, it was possible to conduct a constructive dialogue and exchange experiences.
We extend our sincere thanks to the PZPB for the trust they have placed in us and for their professional leadership and coordination of the work: Jan Styliński—President of the PZPB, Błażej Madejski—Chair of the PZPB Energy Committee, and Piotr Wołejko – Director of Expert Committees at the PZPB.
We would also like to express our appreciation to PSE’s legal team for creating an environment conducive to substantive cooperation and for their openness to the contractors' perspective—this approach to dialogue has a real impact on the quality of the solutions we develop.
Further work—both within the legal working group and the other teams—will continue. In our assessment, the direction taken and the progress made so far suggest that the solutions we have developed together will gradually lead to more effective and predictable cooperation in the implementation of projects that are critical to national security and the country’s energy transition. Once the discussions in this phase are complete, we plan to prepare a concise summary covering the most important aspects of the solutions developed.
