On 14 October, a unique educational event took place which addressed key issues related to the development of nuclear energy in Poland - the Nuclear Energy Investment Conference. Legal and Economic Conditions.
The programme of the event comprehensively covered the topic and touched upon the most important aspects of nuclear investments. Among other things, the investment process and the necessary administrative procedures, civil liability for nuclear damage, radioactive waste management and nuclear power financing issues were discussed. Participants explored the contractual relationships between project participants, as well as issues related to radioactive waste and spent fuel management.
The speakers included lawyers from KKG's Energy and Natural Resources practice: head, co-managing partner Kamil Zawicki, attorney-at-law, co-head, partner Patrycja Wysocka, attorney-at-law, and counsel Patrycja Nowakowska, attorney-at-law, and junior associate Joanna Kosiniak, attorney-at-law. Aneta Korczyc, Bożena Horbaczewska, and Łukasz Sawicki also gave presentations.
The event was an excellent opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with experts in energy law, nuclear law and nuclear investment financing.
