On 16 and 17 November, the seminar "Transport and Storage of CO2 and the Diagnosis of CCUS Technology in Poland" was held, during which Grzegorz Pokrzywka, Senior Counsel at KKG, gave a presentation entitled "CCUS in Polish strategic documents in the light of the update of the National Energy and Climate Programme and PEP2040".
The seminar presented aspects related to technical and organisational issues of CO2 transport and storage, as well as the results and conclusions of analyses in the field of the role of CCUS technology in the decarbonisation of the energy sector and industry. Panel discussions focused on national CO2 storage projects and the potential contribution of CCUS technology to decarbonisation in Poland.
The conclusions of the meeting will be included in the CCUS.pl project reports, which will complement the strategy for developing these technologies in Poland being prepared as part of the project.
