On 5 November, the 5th Congress on New Technology Law: Technology Development and New Legal Challenges took place. The event brought together experts in law and technology to discuss the most pressing challenges and upcoming regulatory changes related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and modern IT solutions.
During the event, Grzegorz Pobożniak and Jakub Bojarczuk, attorneys at law, gave a presentation on the role of artificial intelligence as a participant in legal transactions.
Congress participants had the opportunity to explore topics such as:
? The AI Act - the basis for regulating artificial intelligence,
? Deceptive interfaces (dark patterns) - legal regulation and practical aspects,
? How to conduct a risk assessment of an AI project? A practical approach,
? Upcoming cybersecurity regulations in the IT sector (DORA, NIS2).
The topics discussed at the conference provided valuable insights into how law shapes the development of new technologies in Poland and around the world.
