The 25th Congress in a series of INLA conferences that had become the leading international event bringing together representatives of government, regulatory authorities, nuclear specialists, legal professionals, academics, and others involved in nuclear law. The Congress took place from November 3-7 in Warsaw. The purpose of the Congress was to promote the study of legal issues associated with the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and to encourage the exchange of information in this field.

The Congress provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to exchange knowledge and ideas on nuclear law’s role at various stages of the nuclear facility life cycle, addressing legal and regulatory aspects concerning new technologies, planned investments, and local content requirements, all aligned with the interests of INLA Working Groups.
The organization of the Congress aligned with Poland’s nuclear safety and radiation protection strategy and was crucial for preparing national entities to implement the Polish Nuclear Power Program (PNPP) and new technologies, including small modular reactors (SMRs).
