From 26-29 August, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University hosted a training course on arbitration and international commercial law for students from Eastern European countries. The event was organised by the Commercial Law Development Program.
The Commercial Law Development Program is an initiative of the United States Department of Commerce to assist developing countries in creating sustainable commercial law policy and business law. The programme is designed to help these countries implement international standards and best practices in the area of commercial law.
During the event, one of the presenters was Maciej Durbas, PhD, partner at KKG, who gave a series of workshops on:
- Real-life examples of International Commercial Arbitration,
- General overview of critical legal sources used in Vis Moot,
- Analysing a Vis moot problem,
- Legal Writing in Vis Moot,
- Vis Moot & ADR.
