The ‘Banking Disputes’ conference, organised by Must Read Media Publishing, took place on 26 June.
One of the presenters was Aleksandra Kuzawińska, senior associate at KKG, who gave a lecture entitled ‘Legal Basis of WIBOR Disputes and Swiss Franc Cases - Analysis of Similarities and Differences, and Current Case Law’.
Marek Malciak, senior associate at KKG, spoke about the Code of Civil Procedure amendment and its impact on Swiss franc cases.
The meeting also addressed such topics as claims for remuneration for the use of capital in the context of the current case law of the CJEU and state courts, securing a claim in the context of the Swiss franc and WIBOR disputes, and the judicial valorisation of the bank’s performance in connection with the invalidity of a Swiss franc loan agreement.
