Owen Downing and Morgan Halme have joined the KKG Legal internship team as part of a partnership with the JU-CUA American Law Program, implemented by the JU Faculty of Law and Administration and The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.

At the end of the internship, they made presentations to the KKG Legal team, introducing selected issues from the American legal system:

  • Owen Downing focused on the system of federalism in the United States and the most common differences and challenges faced by lawyers in litigation practice at the state and federal levels.
  • Morgan Halme presented the structure and key aspects of the jury trial in the US, also comparing it with the institution of jurors in Poland.

Thank you for the substantive speeches and open exchange of perspectives.
