KKG Legal Partner of the ‘New Model of Power Engineering’ Conference

From 22-24 November, Kazimierz Dolny hosted the 10th Technical Conference ‘New Model of Power Engineering’ organised by the Nowa Energia Publishing House.

Participants discussed critical issues related to the development of the Polish power and heating industry which is facing a dynamic transformation.

Key topics discussed during the meeting included Poland’s Energy Policy PEP 2040, the transformation of the Polish energy sector, nuclear energy, hydrogen strategy and technologies, offshore, photovoltaics, biomass, and industrial energy.

On the first day of the event, in a panel discussion on ‘Conventional Energy, Hydrogen, RES ( Offshore, PV), Energy Storage – a Panacea for a New Model of Power Engineering? A Role in the Creation of a New Energy Model,’ Magdalena Krawczyk, PhD, senior associate at KKG, delivered an introductory presentation ‘How to Unleash the Potential of the Offshore Wind Sector in Poland? Question of a Legal Framework Conducive to Implementing a New Model of Power Engineering.’ And on the second day of the conference, Patrycja Nowakowska, senior associate at KKG, spoke in a panel discussion on nuclear energy.
