We are pleased to announce that Patrycja Nowakowska, attorney-at-law and counsel at KKG, was awarded a special prize in the 13th edition of the Rising Stars Lawyers – Leaders of Tomorrow competition organised by Wolters Kluwer Polska!

Patrycja is an expert in a very important field – she specialises in nuclear and energy law. She provides legal services to entities involved in the Polish energy transition. Her scientific work includes the issue of civil liability for nuclear damage from a business point of view. She is preparing a doctoral thesis and scientific articles on this topic.

She completed the International Nuclear Law Essentials programme organised by the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency. She is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University and the School of French Law, Université d’Orleans.

She combines her legal expertise with pro bono work – she has led workshops for the Women’s Rights Centre, helped vulnerable people from Ukraine and participated in the Supreme Bar Council’s ‘Fabulous Lawyers’ project.

The award recognises not only her knowledge and skills but also her commitment to promoting the highest standards in the provision of legal services and her concern for the quality of the law and its application.
