How do exchange mechanisms work in the Polish energy system? What opportunities do they present for the RES sector? These and many other issues were discussed on Thursday during the conference “Exchange Mechanisms of the Polish Power Exchange Capital Group. Benefits for the RES Sector. Key Stakeholders Under One Roof,” organized by the Polish Power Exchange (POLPX) as part of its educational activities.
The KKG Legal team was represented by Kamil Zawicki, attorney at law and Ewa Przyśliwska-Urbanek, attorney at law, who actively followed discussions devoted to, among other things, the role of POLPX in the energy transition, the rules of membership in POLPX and IRGIT, the maintenance of renewable energy registers, settlement rules, the use of exchange data, as well as the rules of brokerage houses, new business models in the RES sector and services in the balancing market.
We would like to thank the organizer for the invitation and congratulate the excellent organization and inspiring lectures, in particular Mr. Piotr Listwoń, President of the Management Board of POLPX, Mr. Janusz Gajowiecki, President of the Management Board of the Polish Wind Energy Association, and Mr. Konrad Purchała, Vice President of the Management Board of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A.
Participation in the conference was also an excellent opportunity to make valuable industry contacts and exchange experiences. Such initiatives enable us to respond even more effectively to the needs of the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
