We would like to announce that in the 2014/2015 spring semester, Kamil Zawicki, attorney at law, together with Dr. Łukas Gorywoda (Permanent Court of Arbitration in Hague), is conducting classes on International Investment Arbitration at the Chair of Civil Law at Jagiellonian University. The classes aim to prepare the students to participate in the 2015 Foreign Direct Investment Moot competition in London. Within the framework of the competition, students prepare a statement of claims and a reply to the statement of claims in English, on the basis of information provided by the competition organisers, participate in investment arbitration hearing simulations organised within the course with the participation of invited guests (professors and practitioners) and participate in competitions organised by other universities (so-called pre-moot). Selected individuals will participate in the oral part of the competition in London. The classes include both workshops and consultations with the lecturer, e-learning, rhetoric and public speaking classes.
