Julita Zawadzka, PhD, partner at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, in cooperation with Prof. Jerzy Pisuliński, PhD, took over the scientific edition of the publication “Aksjologia prawa cywilnego i cywilnoprawna ochrona dóbr” [Axiology of Civil Law and Civil Law Protection of Property] by the C.H. Beck publishing house.
Publisher’s note:
The publication deals with the key points of contemporary civil law issues. It consists of three parts: the first one – concerning the axiology of civil law, the second one – concerning subjective rights and civil law protection of goods, the third one – concerning civil law relations.
It discusses, among others, issues concerning relations between rightness and autonomy of will; constitutional rights and freedoms in the context of the subjective rights institutions; evolution of the concept of personal rights; abuses of protection of personal rights in jurisprudence; protection of emotional bonds between relatives; goods and interests protected by tort law; legal relations having the so-called digital content as their object; protection of a minor’s money; termination of a contract regulating the use of things in the case of a multi-entity nature of a party to the contract; amendments to the provisions of the Civil Code on the statute of limitations of claims; civil law liability for breach of competition law.
The publication is addressed to representatives of the legal science, as well as practitioners of law: judges, attorneys-at-law, legal counsels, notaries, and prosecutors. It will also be of interest to students of such courses as law or administration.
