At the end of February, a two-day Advocacy Skills workshop devoted to developing practical courtroom speaking skills was held at the headquarters of the Regional Bar Council in Krakow. KKG Legal was pleased to support the event as a sponsor.
The workshop was led by British barristers and judges working with The Inns of Court College of Advocacy - one of the most renowned training institutions for lawyers in England and Wales. The workshop program was based on the Hampel method, used in the UK to train barristers and judges, which focuses on developing practical litigation skills through intensive, workshop-based training.
Participants worked on techniques for questioning witnesses, building and presenting trial arguments, and communicating effectively before the court. The sessions were conducted in English in the form of practical exercises with individualized feedback from the instructors.
Such initiatives provide an important platform for developing litigation skills and exchanging experience among lawyers operating in different legal cultures and systems. We are pleased to have been able to support an event organized by the District Bar Council in Krakow, which focuses on improving the advocacy workshop and raising the standards of trial practice
