Maciej Durbas, PhD, on the benefits of participating in the Vis Moot arbitration competition during the XXVIII edition of Legal Education Days
20 November 2024
On 18-20 November, law students from all over Poland had the opportunity to participate in one of the most important educational events organised by ELSA Poland – the XXVIII edition of Legal Education Days.
This year’s edition was unique in the topics covered – from the differences between the reality of studying law and its portrayal in the movies to practical advice on writing a doctorate and how gender affects the process to drug policy dilemmas. In Krakow, at Jagiellonian University, participants had the opportunity to delve deeper into these issues during inspiring panels that combined academic knowledge with practice.
On the third day, during a panel discussion entitled “How to get started in international competitions?”. Student-Professor Relationship” Maciej Durbas, PhD, partner at KKG, spoke, providing tips on how to participate in the Vis Moot arbitration competition.
Legal Education Days is an initiative that has been supporting the development of young law students since 1997, inspiring them to take action and broaden their horizons. Organised in cooperation with legal self-governments, public institutions and law faculties across Poland, the event combines education with practice, identifying new trends and opportunities for development.
We are already looking forward to the next edition!
