From June 27th to 29th, 2024, the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands, hosted a conference titled “Transporting Law(yers) into the future: equality, specialisation and legal tech at the start of the 21st century”. This three-day event brought together leading legal professionals, tech experts, and scholars to explore the evolving landscape of law in the digital age.

As anticipated, the conference tackled the increasing complexity of legal disputes in the digital future. Discussions centered around the challenges posed by advancements in AI, robotics, data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). The event also highlighted issues related to construction disputes in the offshore sector, reflecting the broad spectrum of modern legal challenges.
