On 21-23 November in Kazimierz Dolny, the 11th Technical Conference “Nowy Model Energetyki” organised by the Nowa Energia Publishing House took place.
During the event, participants discussed key issues related to developing the Polish power and heat industry, which is undergoing a dynamic transformation.
Key topics discussed during the conference included hydrogen technologies, gas units, the role of coal in the energy transition, large-scale RES power generation, multi-fuel units, industrial power generation, decarbonisation, district heating, and carbon capture and storage (CCS).
On the first day of the event, the third thematic panel, “Nuclear Power. Big or Small?” included a presentation entitled “Rome wasn’t built in a day. What can the story of Romulus and Remus teach us against the backdrop of the years-long race to build Poland’s first nuclear power plant? Some remarks on possible peri-investment disputes,” which was presented by Kamil Zawicki, attorney at law and co-managing partner and head of KKG’s Energy & Natural Resources Desk.
Patrycja Nowakowska, senior associate and expert in KKG’s Energy & Natural Resources Desk, spoke on the same panel.
Kubas Kos Galkowski was the legal partner for the event.
