Grzegorz Pokrzywka as a Panelist at CCS B2B Conference in Krakow

Conference

20 June 2024

On June 19-20, the CCS B2B conference is taking place in Krakow!

During this prestigious event, Grzegorz Pokrzywka, senior counsel, from KKG participated in a fascinating panel discussion titled “Added value from partnerships”.

The panel was held on 19 June, featuring experts from various fields, including: Henning Vellene from Norconsult, and Beata Superson-Polowiec from Polowiec i Wspólnicy sp.j. The panel was moderated by Paweł Gładysz from AGH University of Krakow.

The main goal of the panel discussion was to identify the potential added value of building national and international partnerships within the CC(U)S value chain. The panelists, who represented companies and institutions supporting this emerging market in Europe, spoke about their perspective as they often integrate different stakeholders in such initiatives.

The following topics (questions), among others, were discussed:

  1. What are the added value from national and international partnerships within the emerging CC(U)S market?
  2. Is there a “strength in numbers” or is it more about the determination of specific partners to overcome relevant challenges for CC(U)S projects like public acceptance or lacks in legal framework?
  3. At early stage – like in Poland – what actions are recommended when new partnerships are being established for commercial CC(U)S value chain projects and initiatives? How a model partnership for CC(U)S project should look like?

Thank you all for the inspiring discussions and knowledge exchange.
