Barbara Jelonek-Jarco, PhD, on Civil Liability and Claims Recovery at a conference organised by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University

29 November 2024

On 29 November, an international conference on “Current Legal Issues of Civil Liability, Pursuit of Claims and Enforcement” (Current Legal Issues of Civil Liability, Pursuit of Claims and Enforcement) was held at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

The event brought together experts from at home and abroad in the fields of contractual liability, tort liability and civil enforcement to discuss the latest legal challenges at both the domestic and international levels.

The speakers included Barbara Jelonek-Jarco, PhD, co-managing partner of KKG, who discussed civil liability and claims recovery from the perspective of a trial lawyer in her presentation. As part of her presentation, she answered key questions about the efficiency of litigation:

  1. How effective is litigation?
  2. How should one properly prepare for court proceedings?
  3. What difficulties may arise in the course of the proceedings?
  4. Does a final judgment ensure full satisfaction of the claim?

Thank you to the organisers for the opportunity to attend the event and to the participants for their active participation in the conference!
