Experience

Leader of the KKG Energy & Natural Resources Practice. Expert in energy law, energy investment processes and energy litigation. Provides comprehensive services to companies operating in the energy sector. Experienced in projects in the conventional energy industry and investments in renewable energy sources and new technologies in the energy industry. Assists clients in the energy transition process. Has advised on infrastructure investments that are strategic to the country's energy security.

Combines knowledge of the energy industry and the specific regulations pertaining to it with expertise in the area of civil law, particularly contract law. Conducts negotiations, prepares and gives opinions on contracts, acts as an attorney in court proceedings, trains as well as advises and prepares legal opinions on energy law, renewable energy sources, nuclear law, public procurement law and other issues related to the operation of energy companies. Participated in due diligence studies of companies in the energy sector, including wind farm projects. Participated in the preparation of transactions involving the acquisition of control over companies operating wind farms.

Represents clients before common and administrative courts in proceedings before the President of the Energy Regulatory Office and before the National Appeal Chamber.

Co-author of litigation strategy and representation of clients in numerous, multi-district litigations brought against companies of one of the largest groups in the energy sector, in disputes related to long-term framework agreements relating to the sale of electricity from renewable sources and property rights (green certificates). ESG-related cases and proceedings, including defending companies against allegations of greenwashing, also remain within her interests.

Lecturer at the Nuclear Energy Postgraduate Program at the Warsaw School of Economics. Author of numerous publications and conference presentations, including in the field of nuclear energy law. Issues related to Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) remain of particular interest to her. She represents KKG Legal in the work of the European Industrial Alliance on SMRs. She is a member of the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA), the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) and Women in Nuclear Polska. Chair of the KIA Section on Legal Aspects of Energy Transition.
