Experience

Attorney-at-law. Specialises in substantive and procedural civil law. Cooperates with the court and arbitral proceedings team as well as with the real estate team. In her practice, she focuses on cases from the scope of real estate law, especially those related to real estate transactions, real estate due diligence audits, regulating the legal status of real estate and returning expropriated property, as well as cases related to the investment and construction process.

Participates in providing comprehensive legal services for businesses (also foreign) in complex court proceedings concerning the pursuit of compensation claims. Has experience in matters related to competition protection, including court proceedings on the borderline between civil law and competition law, in particular in complex disputes concerning the pursuit of claims for damages resulting from infringements of public competition law (the so-called private enforcement. She is, among others, a member of the team representing one of Poland’s leading mobile phone operators in a dispute related to repairing damages caused by an act of unfair competition with the value of the subject of litigation amounting to several hundred million PLN. She also has experience in the scope of international arbitration related to multimillion BIT investment disputes in the scope of protection of real estate sector investments.

Her experience also includes preparing comprehensive legal opinions in the field of administrative and commercial law (including claims related to the performance of construction contracts, e.g. in connection with faulty works and violation of the work schedule, refusal to pay for additional works and contractual penalties), as well as preparing and negotiating contracts. She took part, among others, in the preparation of the transaction of sale of showrooms of a well-known franchise chain in shopping centres in southern Poland.
