The 12th Polish Construction Law Congress, organised by the Must Read Media Publishing House, took place on 19-21 November. The event attracted practitioners, experts, and leaders in the construction industry and provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge on the latest trends, challenges, and solutions related to construction law.
The programme of the Congress covered a wide range of topics relevant to the construction market, such as contractual penalties as a means of ensuring the proper execution of a construction project - contractual practice and trends in court practice, additional works vs. lump sum and estimated remuneration, the responsibility of the public client towards the contractor for the description and condition of the construction site, the procedure for filing and recognising contractual claims on the basis of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract, or the specificity of construction contracts in the offshore sector.
