We are pleased to announce that Maciej Durbas, PhD, of counsel at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, and Patrycja Wysocka, senior associate at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, have been appointed co-heads of the arbitration and energy departments respectively.
Maciej Durbas, PhD has been associated with KKG since 2011. He is an expert in arbitration. He has advised clients in domestic and international court and arbitration proceedings with the value of the subject matter of the dispute reaching up to several hundred million euros. He has participated in multiple arbitration proceedings as an attorney, arbitrator, assistant arbitrator, and arbitral panel secretary. Since 2019, he has been recommended annually in the Who’s Who Legal Arbitration ranking.
Patrycja Wysocka, attorney at law, has worked for KKG since 2006. She specialises in providing comprehensive services to companies from the energy sector – she conducts negotiations, prepares and reviews contracts, acts as an attorney in court proceedings, conducts trainings, and provides advice and legal opinions on public procurement law and other issues related to the operation of energy companies. Moreover, she participates in the development of litigation strategies, including multi-million litigations of a precedential nature.
