On 15 March 2021, Maciej Durbas, attorney at law and senior associate at Kubas Kos Galkowski, obtained a doctoral degree in legal sciences at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He defended his doctoral dissertation titled Ruling on the Jurisdiction of an Arbitration Court, the public defence of which took place on 25 January 2021, with honours. The PhD procedure was conducted at the Chair of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University under the supervision of Prof. Jerzy Pisulinski.
