On 1 July, another PCCC Energy Circle meeting was held, this time dedicated to the topic of local content in the energy sector.
Kamil Zawicki, managing partner and Partner of the Energy and Natural Resources Practice at KKG Legal, took part in the meeting, joining a discussion focused on the practical aspects of developing energy projects in Poland – including the role of local entities, cooperation with investors, public administration, and international partners.
Nearly 30 experts representing the public sector, the energy industry, advisory firms, law firms, and the Polish-Canadian business community gathered around one table.
The meeting also had an important cross-organizational dimension, bringing together the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce and IGEOS Nuclear communities. As a member of both PCCC and IGEOS, KKG Legal is pleased to take part in discussions on the development of Poland’s energy sector, while also contributing to IGEOS Nuclear initiatives through the expert involvement of Patrycja Wysocka, co-managing partner and Leader of the Energy and Natural Resources Practice at KKG Legal, and @Patrycja Nowakowska, counsel and Energy & Natural Resources Practice Expert at KKG Legal.
Local content, cooperation with investors, the role of public administration and international partners, as well as the practical challenges related to the development of the energy sector, are topics that will be highly relevant to the next stages of Poland’s energy transition.
Thank you to the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce for organizing the meeting, to Monika Silva for moderating the discussion, and to CGI for hosting us at its Warsaw office.
