Kubas Kos Gałkowski supported the publishing of Dr Andrzej Olaś monograph entitled ‘Umorzenie procesu cywilnego’ [‘Discontinuation of a Civil Litigation’] issued by the C.H. Beck publishing house. The publication presents a full up-to-date study of the institution of discontinuation of a civil litigation in Polish law. The author undertakes to provide a thorough and comprehensive presentation of this institution, setting it against its historical background while simultaneously providing a comparative legal analysis thereof. In the first order, the monograph is addressed to judges, attorneys, and legal counsels, as well as academicians.
