On July 1 2014 in Brussels, the European Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration was established. EFILA, taking on the form of a think tank, aims to be the main platform representing the interests of representing interests of parties resorting to ADR mechanism in investor-state disputes on a European level. Kubas Kos Gałkowski belongs to the narrow circle of the Federation’s founding members.
ELIFA’s inaugurating conference was held on 23 January 2015. The main topic of the conference was a review of the EU policy in the area of investment law, with a particular focus on current issues related to investment arbitration were specifically discussed. Kamil Zawicki, attorney at law and Paweł Sikora, attorney at law, participated in the meeting on behalf of Kubas Kos Gałkowski.
