The Jagiellonian University team from the Faculty of Law and Administration, supported by KKG, won first place in the International Commercial Mediation Competition, organized by the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. In winning the competition as the first European team in the history of the competition, Jagiellonian University students defeated 65 teams from the best universities in the world, including the United States, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Germany, and in the final round proved to be better than New Zealand’s University of Auckland. It is worth mentioning that from among the teams present in the semi-finals, only Jagiellonian University students were not from a country in which English is spoken as the national language. Representatives of Jagiellonian University’s winning team will be able to improve their mediation skills as interns in the Parisian International Chamber of Commerce and the London Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Congratulations!
