We are proud to announce that in this year’s qualifying round of the Bar Rhetoric Competition test for attorney trainees organised by the Regional Bar Council in Krakow, the following attorney trainees received distinctions: Małgorzata Ćwik, Bartosz Laprus and Marta Lewko-Walczak.
The competition, which took place on 19-20 April 2024 at the headquarters of the ORA [Regional Bar Association], attracted more than 100 trainees. The participants of the competition drew case studies and trial roles, which allowed for a comprehensive test of their skills in delivering trial speeches in court.
Małgorzata Ćwik and Bartosz Laprus delivered a defence speech in a criminal law case (concerning an offence against sexual freedom and decency). Marta Lewko-Walczak presented the final speech in a civil law case (concerning a declaration of unworthiness of inheritance).
The competition is designed to deepen legal knowledge and promote and improve the art of public speaking. We congratulate the distinguished participants and wish them further success!
