Although the emotions following the 25th Congress of the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA) have subsided, the reflections and conclusions of the event are still reverberating within the community of nuclear law experts.
In early November, Warsaw was the meeting place for representatives of public administrations, regulators, organisations, lawyers, scientists and nuclear specialists from all over the world. It was a unique opportunity to share experiences and discuss key challenges facing the industry.
During the event, Kamil Zawicki, attorney-at-law, co-managing partner and head of KKG’s Energy & Natural Resources practice, shared his insights with CIRE.pl and answered key questions about Poland’s nuclear power development programme. In the interview, he emphasised the importance of legal certainty and the need to invest in future technologies such as SMRs.
