The 2nd Whistleblowers in the Organisation Conference took place on 17 September. The event was organised by Must Read Media Publishing.
During the conference, we had the opportunity to discuss the latest case law and current interpretations of the law by courts, supervisory institutions and experts in the field of whistleblowing in the workplace.
Agata Ziobroń, attorney-at-law, and Joanna Szlachta, attorney-at-law, gave a detailed presentation on the prohibition of retaliation and protection measures contained in the Whistleblower Act. The conference also covered topics such as the scope of the new whistleblowing provisions, the step-by-step whistleblowing procedure and the practical challenges of implementing the provisions in a workplace.
