The 2nd edition of the Kubas Kos Gałkowski Summer Academy of Arbitration and Mediation in Lviv was held from 17 to 18 June.
The Academy is organised in the frames of the long-standing cooperation with the School of Polish and European Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University. It is a supplementary programme for students of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Workshops promoting arbitration and mediation as dispute resolution methods were conducted by Kubas Kos Gałkowski Associates: Maciej Durbas, Kuba Gąsiorowski, and Paweł Sikora. The curriculum covered subjects from Polish and international civil procedure, arbitration, and mediation.
About the School of Polish and European Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University in Lviv:
In the 2007/2008 academic year, cooperation in the frames of the School of Polish and European Law was initiated with the Ivan Franko National University in Lviv. Lectures at the School are delivered in Polish by academics from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian and guest speakers from other academic centres in Poland and Europe. The School’s full curriculum comprising a course in legal Polish and lectures in legal science is designed to be delivered within one academic year.
